Balcony Gardening Process

balcony gardening process

Step 1: Check Your Sunlight

Before you start, look at your balcony. Most plants need 4 to 6 hours of direct sunlight every day.

  • Pro Tip: If your balcony is very sunny, grow tomatoes or chilies. If it is shady, grow money plants or indoor flowers.

Step 2: Pick the Right Pots

Choose pots that fit your space.

  • For small balconies: Use Hanging Pots or Wall Tubs to save floor space.

  • For big balconies: Use large floor pots for bigger vegetables.

  • Viridleaf offers unique designs for every balcony type!

Step 3: Use the Best Soil

Plants get their food from the soil. Do not use regular "roadside" mud.

  • Use the Viridleaf Premium Potting Mix. It is a mix of organic fertilizer, coco-peat, and soil.

  • It is light, clean, and helps your plants grow much faster.

Step 4: Plant Your Seeds Carefully

Now it is time to plant!

  • Poke a small hole in the soil (not too deep).

  • Drop 2-3 Viridleaf Hybrid Seeds in the hole and cover them gently with a little soil.

  • Spray some water immediately to keep the soil moist.

Step 5: Water and Watch them Grow

Gardening is all about patience.

  • Watering: Water your plants early in the morning or in the evening. Do not over-water!

  • Care: Remove any dry leaves and check for tiny insects.

  • Enjoy: In a few weeks, you will see your first green leaves. Congratulations, you are now a gardener!
